You may have the most outstanding product or idea in the world, but in order to be successful you have to let the world know about it. But there are proven ways to promote and grow your business successfully.
The list below of 21 proven ways to grow your business should be used as a checklist of activities that are necessary to get to the top. Every strategy is like having a fishing line in the water – if you have 21 fishing lines in the water and your competitor has one line in the water then you have a better chance of taking a fish home.

1. Word-of-mouth
* Tell as many people as possible about your new business.
* Do it in person, personal letter, email, or phone call.
2. Press Releases
* Submitting a press release is a way to permanently establish your presence on the internet.
* Write a short story about the launch of your new website or article and then use sites like PRWEb or PRNewsWire to publish your press release.
3. Business cards
* Distribute customize dollar bills with your website address on.
* Give business cards to all the people you are dealing with – every time you spend money.
4. Social networking sites
* Join Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Squidoo review site, etc.and mention your website.
