1. Be clear in your ad. You need to ask specifically for what you want. If you need someone who has a bachelor’s degree, then you should state that in your ad as a requirement. If you just say you are hiring people to fill work from home jobs, everyone looking for a home job will apply. You also need to clearly state the job duties. Being up front with what is required of your employees will discourage those not qualified from applying.

2. Ask potential employees to submit resumes with relevant work experience and salary requirements. If people don’t have the work experience needed then they won’t know what type of salary to ask for. This will eliminate a lot of people.

You should also put a end date on the job posting. You can do this by saying something like, “please send resume with relevant work experience and salary requirements no later than” and put a date. Another thing you can do to limit repeat inquires is put in the ad that you will only respond to those being considered for the position.
